Mind Food | Stocktake
Stocktake is an operational necessity to control stock levels, maintain cashflow, eliminate wastage and correctly forecast. It’s something that occurs in well run food businesses monthly or sometimes weekly. Yet how often do you apply that same level of thinking to yourself?
Have you taken stock for the last 12 months so you can identify areas for improvement, forecast potential friction points or acknowledge any wins?
Here’s the thing…. we are not built to always be ‘pushing’ forward. That is why weekends, holidays and short breaks are essential when playing the long game.
Conducting a stocktake on your time, your energy and your pursuit of goals are key components in your personal alignment and motivation levels.
This time of year is perfect to ‘take stock’, so I invite you to take a few minutes to answer these 3 simple questions:
1. What did you LOVE about the last 12 months?
What were the flecks of gold you will keep…
2. What did you LEARN?
There are no mistakes only lessons learned…
3. What are you LETTING GO?
What habits or thoughts are you giving yourself permission to put down, and focus on the road ahead…
When was your last stocktake?
